| Posted 2 months ago He already made an identical post about this. So I will go ahead and repeat myself also...
You can't spell, and that looks worse than a tattoo. "Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself." - Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant "America was not built on fear." "America was built on courage, imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand. " - President Harry S. Truman |

| Posted 2 months ago This is the 3rd or 4th post about tattoos, none of them are spelled correctly either. |

| Posted 2 months ago whoa, easy there man. i don't see how having tattoos affect your professionalism or your ability to do your job. its a way of life for some, and a form of expression for others. nothing more, nothing less. |

| Posted 2 months ago I can tell you have hard feelings about ink. I'll bite. I have a tattoo on my upper left bicep area about three and a half inches large of the Seabee logo. It remains hidden by my short sleeve T-shirt. I figured if I kept my ink military oriented and hidden by my short sleeve uniform no one would complain. I can see why you would gripe about folks having dragons, roses, etc all up and down their arm and to me, such an extensive ink job rather does detract from the sharp, meticulously groomed appearance every officer in the police force and indeed every Soldier, Sailor, Airman or Marine should strive for. But to me, my tat signifies pride in my service and in my unit. Certainly, no one would begrudge me that.... especially not after I joined the military at age 32 and beat out some incredibly long odds to earn the right to be called a Seabee. Yes, it will still be there long after I leave. But you know what? I can point to my tat and say I earned the right to wear this ink. Sure, maybe if I was into wearing evening gowns it would probably look incredibly incongruous. But then again I'd dare say if someone doesn't like it, they don't have to look :-) |

| Posted 2 months ago you have no professionalism when dealing with the public, you look stupid with a uniform on and tatts everywhere, really looks professional, think about it |

today's public view has changed since the 60's. there's no need to go on a rant about it. |

Why would you do all the tough guy talk online, find an officer with tats and tell him face to face what you think. |
| back to top |
| Posted 2 months ago so much for a so-called officer not passing judgment on someone right away. Take a pill and don't get your panties in a wad. I suppose you are entitled to your opinion, and dislike them in view, but don't call out other officers with tats saying they are unprofessional just b/c they chose to get some ink. You look pretty unprofessional with your criticism and judgemental attitude. |

| Posted 2 months ago Well who would have thunk it, no respectable officer, especially a retired one would come on a public site and use such inflamatory remarks against officers, he is a POS in my book. |

| Posted 2 months ago Although I don't have a tat, my advice to young officers considering getting one was, "Don't get anything, that you would be embarrassed explaining it to your granddaughter." |
