1. Any cop, specifically a male cop, that cannot take down a pregnant woman without using a taser shouldnt be a cop. Period. Sorry to break it to you. 2. In the situation of the college student, you say I don't know the facts. The officer who used the taser was a former D-1 TE, taller than the MAN HE KILLED by 6 inches and outweighing him by 70lbs or more. He was 200ft from the front door of the police station. 3. I love how you will reference "an incident some time ago" as a reason that cops should always have the right to taser, but wont allow the public to reference hundreds of incidents in recent past where an officer killed a person with their taser as a reason cops should use more discretion with tasers. 4. Its amazing cops were able to function for all those years before tasers. How were THEY able to take down a guy with a knife? Listen, youre not fooling anyone, the most of you have a hard on for authority and adventure, guess what, some danger comes with the job, don't get pissed because you get called out sometimes as being overly reliant on your "non-lethal" tasers, not to mention your guns. 5. I love all this "id like to see you do my job" crap. You have to stop using that as a crutch on all your arguments. Really. I know it is tough in some situations, but i dont see any of the 3 situations previously discussed as real mind-benders. Cop v. pregnant woman. 4 cops vs. one delirious man with a pen knife. 1. how do you know? you have never been a cop. right? and consider this, it is a natural thing for a mother to fight until death for her child.  And in this case fighting a preganant female would defeat purposes in several ways. there is no purpose in a physical fight and risking injuring both the female and te officers when you can usea taser with less chance of injury to everyone involved.  What if she had a miscarriage because of a physical altercation? then you would scream the officers should have used their taser!!! you are such a troll and wanna be smart guy (emphasis on "wanna be").

2. there are many other factor's to consider other than officer size/subject size. nd do you KNOW all the facts? Of course not.  You were not involved in the fight thus you do not know ALL THE FACTS!

Its funny, that people like this whine, judge, and complain about what we do and how we do it...and yet the incident they need help, where do they go? Based upon what they've displayed in the past, they seem to clearly think that they can do our job far better than we can...yet they always dial 911.

Im 100% for the Taser. People shouldn't act stupid and police wouldn't have to use them. OC spray doesnt always work and the Taser does. Like I said if people would do what told..Police wouldn't have to use them on suspects..

Apparently you do not know.... If you knew anything about a taser you would know it is NOT dangerous... it has amp rating many, many, many times less than a pacer maker.... which makes it not fatal in and of itself.  the drug induces state of the subject is what creates the problem...

Whether you believe it our not, excited delirium was also a problem with pepper spray from my understanding.... either way, you don't know anything.... You get your numbers mixed up, etc... If you got this way from a B.A. or what ever you have, I don't want to see what a Masters or Doctorate would do to you....

get your facts together.... perhaps if you knew anything about the FACTS, then you would know that LEO (and the suspect) are far more likely to get hurt or killed when using pepper spray and baton VS. the Taser... Again, know the FACTS before you open you big BS trap....

You may know "facts" about the case, but you know nothing about police work and you weren't there. In fact, I doubt anyone who commented was there. However, LEO's who have been in similar situations are better qualified to make assesments than you or any of your Amnesty Int'l buddies.
