| Posted 2 months ago Did you work while in high school or college even if part time? The big thing is if there are gaps in your school history they will look at how you supported yourself. If you are fortunate enough to have parents that were able to financially support you then state so. Were you in the service? let them know what you were doing. Be truthful because they will check. What makes you look lazy is, not searching for your answer before you asked.

| Posted 2 months ago 24 years old and never had a job? i mean, nothing? sounds like someone needs to get out of mom and dad's basement and see that there is some actual daylight out there. Please tell me you have been in school this entire time since you graduated high school. If you haven't been then yes it will look bad. I don't think law enforcement should be a first job personally. Work in retail some where and learn how to deal with the public first for about a year. Then apply to work in the local jail. That will give you more experience dealing with a different kind of person than John Q. Public. You will learn how to deal with the kind of people you will be arresting. Then after working there for at least one year then apply to go on the road. Good luck to you |

| Posted 2 months ago Oddly enough, you haven't provided enough information about yourself or what you have been doing since you got out of school to make a determination. Asking an open-ended question like this is like shooting fish in a barrel. Suggest you introduce yourself and be a little more specific. | Posted 2 months ago Seeing that I worked a full time job while I was on school, and sometimes two jobs.....I would look down on that. If you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, you better have some meaningful social services work(volunteer duties) to put into place. Or else, if you don't have a 3.5 or higher GPA, I'm going to think all you did was party while in school. |
