There's alot of threads out on cooking, and Bar-B-Ques, favorite dishes, and the like BUT I could use a little help on two particular soups. One is called SHE-CRAB soup and popular in South Carolina (Charleston area). I've searched the net and consulted many cookbooks trying to duplicate the soups I have found in only two places. Hyman's Restaurant along the trader square area of Charleston for the SHE-CRAB soup and (OF ALL PLACES) the Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas with it's smooth, creamy, and RICH tasting CLAM CHOWDER.These two are by far the best seafood soups that I have EVER eaten. The restaurants will not give out their secret recipes soooooooooo i'm hoping someone "out there" may know of these soup recipes and be willing to share them. Thanks for reading and replying.

did you try googling hyman's she-crab soup and the same for the other soup? there are sites that give out recipes for restaurants. use the restaurant name in your search.
