Lancaster County, PA.  I live here and have been many other places but always, cannot wait to return.  "Country Roads, take me home".

I really like it in Lancaster County. Stayed at a B&B in Manheim several years ago and really enjoyed my stay. I have since purchased quite a few pieces of fine oak furniture from that area that will last a lifetime.

Virginia Beach during the summer...If you have a large family....Lots of free entertainment on beach street, magic shows, bands, vollyball, fireworks etc...and the best part, they have deep sea fishing for about $25 for the half day. The cops there are very courtious also. There's usually 3 or 4 on every corner at nights.

Used to live in Chesapeake near there. Travel a few miles further south to the Outer Banks of NC and you'll find a more family oriented beach.

Skyline Drive near Charlottesville, VA.  Especially in the fall.  You can't beat the views and scenery.
