Posted about 1 month ago Hello all. My name is bmorgan. I am just getting started in my fun filled career as an LEO. (fng) I have three years in as a reserve officer, and just under a year as a pro. I live and work in a tiny little dept. in East Helena Montana. We have 4 full timers and 4 part timers. We serve about 3000 people within our little town, but there are about 120,000 in the Helena Valley all around us. We run 1 officer shifts working closely with MHP and the Lewis and Clark County SO. Our primary areas of concern are Domestic violence and impaired driving. I am a member of the L&C county DUI Task Force. And I am responcible for our departments DUI enforcement program. I am looking forward to some good forums, I work the grave yard shift and it can get a little slow. I reject your reality and submit my own. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Welcome to PL. I started 17 years ago in a very small department that was 11 sworn personnel. it was not unusual to work a shift by myself. It is now almost 60 sworn and soon to be about 85 with an upcoming annexation. Be careful out there! All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, then it may be a troll doing an impression of a duck. |
