I would like to apolajize to any one I offended the other day when I started griping at the security on here. I was just frusterated because After being off this site for a while, I return to see that the nice people at policelink gave security officers a place too discuss things about security. When i checked it out I find that the same old bickering is still going on.
I used to visit this site everyday, to ask advice from law enforcement to better myself in my chosen proffesion. (I used to want to be a police officer but, after working public housing, i decided to make a career out of it, I would probably enjoy a reserve position somewhere though) I like the fact that i can try and keep my little complex in my corner of the city safe.
I would ask advice and recieve great advice. Then more and more security officers started showing up asking crazy questions and the subject always turned into an argument started by security about how their jobs were identical to the police. The police got angry, stopped giving advise, and eventually just blew off and ignored every security guard that showed up, which is understandable because we showed up on a police site.
I lost my patience the other day because of how other people in my proffesion could not let it go about the two jobs and i ended up sounding just like the ones that give all of us a bad name. I would like to apolaejize for my unprofessional attitude and say that i am sory if i offended anyone.
I would also like to thank police link for giving us security officers a place to go and discuss security related things.
