I hate it when.....

My seat belt chatches on my radio during a "tactical bail out".  Also known as a bathroom break.

When the press refers to some jack ass that an officer had to shoot as "the victim".

I hate it when....

People don't listen and I have to repeat myself

People drop names of other cops to try and look cool

People expect us to solve their every problem ("My neighbour's cat keeps puking on my lawn")

My force hires recruits who can barely perform basic functions (drive..speak english..etc) simply because they speak another language

Other cops steal my equipment

I'm left with a disgustingly messy smelly cruiser by whoever used it last

Rookies don't know when to shut up

People lie about what they did when I WITNESSED what they did (traffic stops)

People lie in court (every single day...)

Judges believe the people who lie in court

People think we are mean because we arrest a family member of theirs (perhaps they should have though twice before beating the crap out of their wives or kids, robbing that little old lady, breaking into that house, driving drunk...)

My 12 hour shift seems 24 hours long

I hate it when...

• higher ranking individuals (outside of my chain of command) confuse their rank with my authority, when I'm in the performance of my Security Forces duties


• people get an attitude because you pulled them over because THEY were speeding or committed another violation


• people in a weapons qualification class act like they know everything, then fail or barely qualify


• people blame the weapon, instead of realizing that they screwed up, when they couldn't qualify


• people who using the charging handle of a M4 to send the bolt forward after inserting the mag during a rapid reload, instead of using the BOLT CATCH--resulting in the misuse of precious seconds


• people can't conduct a simple, rapid reload with their handgun during a course of fire--they brain dump between the classroom and the range


• people don't apply the fundamentals of shooting, especially taking their finger off the trigger after each shot in a "x"-shot string


• liberal politicians, the media, and sheep blame firearms, firearms manufacturers, and everything else for crime instead of blaming the criminals


• people say guns kill


• people armchair quarterback police decisions


• liberal/hippy hollywood types try to preach about morals (ours, theirs or the lack of theirs), how everything in the world is our fault, how evil war is(even when it's necessary to the survival of our country and way of life), how guns are evil and people don't need them for defense, who we should vote for, and how we should live

Ok, I better get off the soap box for now.

Oh yeah, I also hate it when a gun makes a "click" sound everytime one is drawn or pointed on TV or in movies.

A couple of years ago one of our officers had to shoot and kill a suspect and when one of the local tv stations referred to a Birmingham Police officer "murdering" someone I called the station and complained. I was HOT! BTW, ir was a "good" shooting.

I hate it when,

Nobody fills the cruiser back up and leave the gas on empty.

My baton gets hung up on the seatbelt when exiting.

When inmates lie when you already seen them commit a violation.

Name dropping to get out of speeding tickets.

Liberal News Media calling some piece of crap gang-banger a juvenile victim when he gets his a$$ shot commiting a felony!

Liberal News Media spewing out a bunch of anti-gun crap based on nothing but lies!

Liberal News Media talking up & praising commies like Obama & Clinton.

Anti-War protests which give aid & comfort to the enemy.

I had one of these years ago. My response way"" I was on the way to get one of them, then you had to run a red light right in front of me. See it is people like you that causes the crime rate to be so high here, you can not follow the basic laws taking my time away from the serious stuff. Now if someone runs a light and causes an accident and kills some one, say your child or husband thats is just as bad right?"" She filed a complaint, yada yada yada......

In Broken english one lady told me, "you stopped me because I'm mexican." 

I told her,  " Mi nombre is patrullero (insert my hispanic name), yo te pare porque no tienes una placa en el vehiculo y porque estabas guiando demasiado rapido."

I get that one a lot.

I just love to tell the kids, "No, I don't arrest babies.  You are too short to go to jail.  But if mommy and daddy are mean to you, just call 911..."  That usually shuts up all of the stupid, insensitive parents in the immediate area.
