Due to the recent turn of events I have been forced to look for a new PD to try to get hired.  I was in the process of getting hired by Ohio state Highway Patrol but due to the wounder world of Budgit cuts, I don't think I'm going to get the opertunity to follow that carrer. I still have the drive to go for any PD. Does anyone have suggestions on other PDs that are hiring? Any help would be great.

You might try the Franklin County Sheriff's Department. They are always hiring for the jail. If you are not certified, you better get started. Check into Eastland career center .  Not many departments in the state have their own academy anymore. The trend now is to only hire certified officers, hopefully with experience.  Check out Columbus PD. not sure when the next test is scheduled.  Good Luck.
