Posted 6 months ago Having had a daughter go down that -- road -- what DO THE police feel about the women who are actively either trapped or engaged in the sex industry -- would the legalisation -- as it is in some parts of the country -- benefit anyone -- if for instance it became legal everywhere -- why -- does the DRUG AND PROSTITUTION INDUSTRY WORK HAND IN HAND with other violent and offensive areas of crime -- like the PORNO AS WELL AS OTHER PARTS OF THE CLUBGOERS AND SEX INDUSTRY -- DO INDUSTRY BOUNCERS CREATE PROBLEMS FOR POLICE OFFICERS AND WHAT OF THE UNDERAGE AND TRAFFICKED WOMEN WITH FAKE AND BOGUS PAPERWORK .... IT SEEMS TO BE THE BIGGEST ASSET FOR MOST CRIME SYNDICATES -- THE OWNERSHIP OF PEOPLE................................IN THE SEX TRADE....... |

| Posted 6 months ago Simone, if this is a question, please check your grammer and sentence structure. If you re-phrase it, you might get some responses to your questions. Right now, it is very difficult to make out. |

I can handle anything that life throws at me~ I may not be able to handle it well, or correctly, gracefully, with finesse, or expediently ~ But I will handle it. |

| Posted 6 months ago I'm confused, what is the question? |

| Posted 6 months ago My goodness there she is confusing me yet again. Considering she claims to write books, you'd think her language skills would be...well...coherent? I can't recall the name of the member this person reminds me of, but there was a gal, prone to ranting, somewhat like this....lol....why do we attract these people to us? If you don't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them. |

| Posted 6 months ago Please allow me to translate, I speak a little Gibberish.
She has had a daughter who was a hooker and wants to know what People in Law Enforcement feel about the legalization of prostitution. She further goes on to ask if anyone feels that the rampant use of illegal narcotics has any involvement in the prostitution industry. She would also like to know if the "Bouncers" of certain Strip clubs, which tend to promote prostitution, cause problems with local law enforcement personnel. She also feels that prostitution is being run by organized crime and that it is a lucrative business for them and would like to know if anyone agrees with that. |

| Posted 6 months ago I don't know about "trapped" being a good way to describe Sex Club "employees" any more than I use "trapped" to describe Walmart employees, Casino employees... the list is endless. Bottom line is- If you are not going to take formal education seriously and instead rely on your body or your back to make your living then don't be disappointed with the dead end road you end up on. The strip clubs around here take care of themselves... very rarely do we have to go into them for a problem. They don't want us there. We tend to ask for work permits and card eveyone in there and I guess it's not good for business. I'm sure the clubs around here are full of Meth users but the 4th Ammendment kind of gets in the way of a uniformed Officer doing too much about that. Prostitution around here is also not much of a problem compared to other cities. "Johns" can drive 35 miles away to Highway 50 and visit the Moonlight Bunny Ranch which is fine by me. It's regulated, taxed, and the Health Dept. checks up on those girls regularly. |

| Posted 6 months ago Hard to tell where the the question begins. Simone, do you really think that in THIS country more women (and some men) are forced into the industry and held captive? As I work on my Master in Criminal Justice, I have had to do some research into the Crime Syndicates. Human trafficking in THIS country is not as big as in other countries. Yes it happens here, but drugs is the major industry. When you speak of making it legal, I am assuming that you are refering to prostution. The problem with making it legal is the cost. It could become a nightmare with medical expenses and other costs. As for your daughter having gone down that road. I really don't know what to say. I hope she was able to get out of it, with out to much harm either physical or mental. The bogus and fake paperwork is a common thing in todays society. Even in the military, I see bogus Passports, VISAs, International Drivers Licenses, and varrious forms of other documentation used by people trying to gain access to the installation. Very few of them are trying to harm the country. Most are found while trying to jobs as land scapers. In my opinion, the ownership of people is a problem, but it is made worse by the media.

| Posted 6 months ago Most of the prostitutes i've dealt with were junkies to begin with and started to support their habit, or they were young woman that had no education and needed to make money to survive. I do think there are people that prey on women in these situtations. |

| Posted 6 months ago You see -- MY INTELLIGENCE levels are so screwed up now that my posts are making no sense at all -- the daughter in question was a prostitute and has been missing and running from the POLICE for the last 7 yrs -- the thing about the bouncers and sex clubs and legalisation --- is the question -- because -- I want to know how much of a headache the sex industry crimelords are to the POLICE INSTEAD -- JUST ASKING SORRY ABOUT THE QUESTION BEING SO SCREWY....EXCUSE THE PUN..................................................... |

| Posted 6 months ago Several years ago, when I worked for NDOC, we had a female C/O who was a former prostitute. She was ussually left in a perimeter tower on graveyard shift. What got me, was that none of the supervisors really had any kind of issue with former prostitutes becoming C/O's? I guess it's no wonder why the NDOC gets a bad rep with some of the other agencies. |

She was allegedly flirting with minimum custody inmates while on the catwalk on the tower. My whole issue was that if she's willing to sell her body for money what else is she more than willing to give up for money? |
