| Posted 3 months ago With all of the injuries Greg suffered, it is an act of God that he is still here. We are continuing to pray for him. 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new." |

| Posted 3 months ago I have added Greg and his family to my parish prayer list, and sent this prayer to them through the link you posted...
God our healer,
Keep us aware of your presence,
Support us with your power,
Comfort us with your protection,
Give us strength
And establish us in your peace.

| Posted 3 months ago Even though I'm no longer an LEO I still do support all of them very much and also with me being a Christian Officer Surles, his family and friends are surely in my thoughts and prayers. I was watching ABC 33/40 News coverage of the accident the other night and when they showed the patrol car I was shocked that anyone may have survived. I actually have posted a few articles on this site about the accident in the News Section. "Relax, the handcuffs are tight because they're new. They'll stretch out after you wear them awhile." |

| Posted 3 months ago Greg is an awesome individual. I know him personally and for him to survive this is a testament that God is with us and was definitely with Greg that day. He is a true Warrior. |

| Posted 3 months ago I signed his guestbook and hope that everyone else does too. It is very important that he and his family hear from everybody, even the ones they don't know. It inspires and heals. Please do it. All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, then it may be a troll doing an impression of a duck. |

| Posted 3 months ago Jim , I got the same notification. Such a shame to prove the adage "only the good die young" . Considering his odds that he should have passed when hit , he did have the advantage of seeing his family before he passed. I don't think our prayers were in vain , He was able to pass in Dignity with His Family by His Side. His Family needs our prayers more then ever for there survival. Another case for the death and disability act. God speed Greg Surles. Glory earned on the field of battle , can never be taken away , you take it with you to the grave.
