I am such a tightwad, I wouldn't upgrade to HBO when I got digital cable.  I was in a motel room watching the very last episode a year ago, and I ended a relationship at the very exact time.  The "Journey" song was the soundtrack to a break-up, everyone has a song that they hear at the perfect moment, I guess.

Anyway, I saw what the big deal was, how well acted the series was, so I started buying seasons on EBAY until I got them all.  I can't quit watching them.  My favorite character is Silvio.  He walks around trying to keep the Ed Sullivan look on his face, and it cracks me up.  His outfits crack me up as a mafia guy trying not to look like a mafia guy that really is one.  I have seen every episode now at least once, and my favorite one is still when Uncle Junior gets fronted out for being a cunning linguist by Tony.

I have only driven through Newark NJ, didn't stop  but I always wondered how far off reality is the series?

I watch it every morning (re-runs) and then 2hrs of them on sunday mornings. When this show first started, I was working construction and a lot of the guy's I worked with (Italians) all walked around talking like the Soprano's, some wanna be's, but I'm sure most really were. I went to one guys stag party and let me tell ya, there were DEFINITELY some made men there, it looked like a casting call for the Soprano's!!

I love the Sopranos!! I can't afford HBo so I borrow the seasons from my brother and sister. I am behind though. I've only seen about 4 seasons. Can't wait to see the rest.
