| Posted 3 months ago Just came in from the "Lobby" and boy does it suck out there. Its a shame that people can't just leave well enough alone and have forced to LEOs on the site to start their own "Ask a Cop" group. Hopefully the "Powers That Be" will leave this group alone to handle business in a LEO fashion. "If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn't thinking"

"if you want your question answered by a cop then state it in your question". thats not going to work. its didnt before and ti wont now. its hard telling how many damn trolls have the verified LEO gold star since it was handed out to whoever thought that someday they might want to be a cop, or thought that they knew a cop, or even might be pulled over one day by a real cop. the lobby is a damn joke! | Posted 3 months ago Now that I am no longer a Mod I guess I might as well give you a little scoop. A few days before I left the Mod group, the GM, Chris Cosgriff, posted in a thread that if any NON-LEO answered a question in the "Ask a Cop" forum that all the Moderators had his permission to delete the response without prejudice. Since I was the Moderator of "Ask a Cop" I had a particular interest in this post, was glad that he finally made the right call and thanked him for allowing the Mods and especially me, the authority to do this. Of course, shortly after being a bad boy and resigning this new "Lobby" shit came out. It was supposed to be worked out with the Sarge who agreed to it in concept. However, Chris Cosgriff created this the very next morning without conferring any further with theSarge. So I just want the guilt for this transgression against all cops on the site to be placed on the right person. As you may have noticed, I have a personal issue with Mr. Cosgriff for failing to reinstate both Nikk and I as Moderators after we were PROVEN MORE THAN RIGHT! So maybe my detest for Mr. Cosgriff and his failure to give me a valid reason or any reason for not reinstating me is clouding my thinking. However, I believe Nikkochey can verify the authority to delete issue because if I am not mistaken, it occurred before he resigned in defense of me. I am on extremely thin ice with this site but I will not be pushed around by a man who's only experience in Law Enforcement was being a "Police Explorer". He makes his living off of his Police Memorial Foundation, Police Link, Fire Link and Military.com. He never served his country, never put his life on the line but does not hesitate to make money off of the blood of cops, fireman and our service people. Since this is a private group, the theory is that this is confidential. I doubt that very much but before I do get thrown out, I believe it is my duty as a retired cop to let you know who you are dealing with. No matter how many times he has said that Leo's come first, remember one thing, ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS! | Posted 3 months ago I will say this, I've only been around since January and already this is a totally different enviroment then what I originally signed up for! Too much bullshit, I don't mean just playing around cause I do that, but just a different feel to the site altogether. I have learned too, be careful who you trust, as have some others of you. |

| Posted 3 months ago well you already have NON-LEOs answering questions because they think they can, I too agree this site is not what it use to be, it is not what I was told that it was, the changes they have made have been to further promote the non LEOs over the LEOs on this site. JD, I really believe my time on PL is numbered. I was going to have my profile deleted but Chris and Will suggested I didn't. I am glad I listened because at least before I get thrown off I can at least tell the truth about how I really feel and what I really saw. It's nice not to have to constantly recite the company mantra as dictated by the big cheese (in his mind). It's to the point where I have outlived my usefulness on this site because I don't like being used. This is just my personal opinion, does not express the opinions of other REAL COPS or some of my former moderator teammates. Once I figure who they were, I let you know. There were a few who apparently took the silent approach and avoided the controversy. I guess they sitll think the management is on their side? Being a Tyrant does not make one a Leader! |
