Posted 5 months ago An officer from my Department (Strathclyde Police - Scotland UK) will be in NY City this coming September. He was wondering if there will be any formal commemoration or remembrance service held to remember our colleagues who fell on 9-11- 2001 that he would be able to attend, in uniform, to represent our Dept. & pay his respects. | Posted 2 months ago So far every year NYC has held a service for the men and women of law enforcement and fire service that were lost in 9-11 . If anyone is going to be in NYC try to attend it is very moving. Also in January on Long island there is a police/fire/ems expo at the Nassau Veterens Collisum, there they have everything you can think of. I know I used to live in NY and went to the expo every year. |
