Do you smoke crack? You had better be able to lay out the steps prior to asking anyone where they're going. If you can not articulate the steps you took, your observations leading you to believe the person is "suspicious" in the first case, engage them in "idle" conversation prior to getting to the 'OBLIGATION" stage your case is crap! Where the hell are you getting your information?????? If you hold a person, even on the street, with them believing they do not have the right to leave, it turns into a custodial interrogation or a least it did when I was on the job. For you REAL cops out there, if I am wrong or missed anything, let me know because I have been retired for five years and I may be a little fuzzy on this stuff, thus disrespecting this expert in the field.

Please help me with this...Isn't this the replacement forum for what used to be "Ask A Cop?.  If so would one not come here to the Lobby to ASK A QUESTION?  I gave what I thought was a fairly educated response but then I finally snapped out of one of my many senior moments and realized this guy didn't even ask a question! Or is it me?????? I do not believe that I have labeled anyone a TROLL since I was a moderator but we all know I have sanctioned my fair share of them. Since I can no longer sanction.....I believe I can now label....... I SAY "TROLL".

Awwwww...that would take all the fun out of our Sunday afternoon (morning to you on the left coast).  This has been a suprising amount of fun for a change.  Just like the old days......(happy sigh)
