i recently recieved my results of my written exam for philly pd. my score was 87.5. this is the first time i got a score for an introduction exam. Does anyone know if this is a respectable score(one that might get me a job?!) My rank was  1,327. I've been told that somewhere in the area of 6,000 people took this most recent test,but I'm not sure if this is true.  Thank You for any responses.

Do a search in the search engine above an look for Philadelphia Police, they may know.

I just tested for philly as well and I got a 86.7 and that got me #2112. I was told by a co-worker who is a retired philly Lt. that  they got through the first couple thousand really quickly because people may have scored higher than us, but they have criminal records or other thjings that disqualify them.

Exit 16E from the South, Exit 17 from the North. Right outside the Lincoln Tunnel to New York.

o.k.,i'm from exit 3 just outside of Belmawr. We may be fellow New Jerseyians but, exit 16-17 and exit 3 are worlds apart, good luck with the trolls?!

Thank you for the reply, I'm really surprised by the difference in ranking with only .9 difference in the score. Did you hear anything on the amount of people who took the test? GOOD LUCK!

I was told that in total some 10,000+ people applied and nearly that many took the test.

 Our testing, interviews and background knocked off over 60% of the total applicants.  This is in PA but not Philly.   A lot of people take a police test who are wasting their money.
