Posted 4 months ago Chris, We have spoken about this before, many months ago, and you stated you were going to implement this. This is something we really need... moreso then gifts and points and all that other jazz. I recieve a TON of Private Messages EVERY DAY and a lot of them are very important! It is an absolute pain in my arse to have to copy and paste these into MS Word or my IMAC program. I just can't do it anymore. Do the math, I have been here since the start of Policelink.com, do that is about 15 months. Would ANYONE here want to copy and paste 15 months worth of PM's? Would anyone here want to go through a seperate program, ie: any kind of word processing program, to look for a PM from 8 months ago? Chris, I understand completely what the Administration is trying to do with the gifts and the new points system and everything, but, don't you think it would be better for the members of Policelink to have a feature that we can actually USE?! I am BEGGING you to implement this feature. I don't see why it can't be done. Please respond C.C. Thank you! Regards, Justin |

| Posted 4 months ago BUMP it up........! I think it's important to make this site user friendly and more functional for those that support the mission of PL in many ways with their time and effort. These guys are the ones that know about the field and try to be helpful to others new in the field or help some along the way. Whatever simplifies these efforts for PL as a whole is a good thing. ......live at peace with everyone........ |

Thank you Justin. I just think it's important to build PL into a strong site, the way it can be, with resources available to those in the field. Those 'resources' are each other and the wealth of knowledge and experience shared, within appropriate format. There are many facets of PL to be shared with the community in general. Likewise, there are also those that can be shared within the community of PL professionals. | Posted 4 months ago As a matter of fact, a whole new inbox is something we're working on right now and *hope* to have it out in about two to three weeks. This will be a complete overhaul to the inbox system. Being able to save message is one of the things it will have. Any other suggestions on things you'd like to see in the inbox please say so now, as we have to wrap up new features on July 15. Just post them as a reply to this message or PM me. Chris Cosgriff

| Posted 4 months ago ok I may be crazy but I just don't delete the ones I want saved for now, or I copy and paste then to a word document until CC gets the feature worked out. Pain is weakness leaving the body. Obstacles are what we see when we take our eyes off the goal. |
