Spray on front (strong side), cuffs on weak side back of belt, gloves on strong side back of belt.  Make sure cuffs are not in the center of your back but off to the weak side in case you fall.  Once you are allowed to carry, obviously the gun goes on strong side, radio on weak side and mag pouch on weak side fron of belt.  Until then, you can get a double mag pouch and use it to carry Snickers bars in case you get hungry, they fit in there nicely.....LOL

Since 01, from security to law enforcment, I'v always carried my mag pouch vertical on the weak side nearest to the buckle. Then spray, and gun. I also carry with dual cuff cases on my back adjacent to spine. Taser on weak side(cross draw) nearest to buckle, baton(rotating) radio and streamlight case.

Pick a place....train with it like your life depends on it.....because it does even if your in security. Also don't change it unless you have practiced drawing, using those items in the new place. Practice drawing even your flashlight...you don't want to change that around and then drop it. It may give someone a weapon while your fighting on the ground.

Yeah I already said that.....LOL.   Your mag pouch should always be on the front of belt on the weak side.  While some guys carry them horizontally that is a bad idea.  While it is nice that  it is low profile that way and not poking into your vest or getting caught on the seatbelt it should be carried vertically (up and down) like Farva and I said.  The main reason is when shooting prone you now have to fight to get youor mag out and up to tactically reload.  That is fine if you want to fiddle around at the range but if you get in a real life shootout you don't want to be flopping like a fish outta water to get your mag out to reload.  Beside the fact that carrying it horizontally is a more fluid motion up to your gun to reload.  Your gun should still be on target, let the old mag drop while the new one comes up with your weak hand, straight up and right in, not sideways toward your belly then up then OH SHIT, you have to turn the mag around because it comes up backwards because you are carrying it horizontal instead of vertical.  The less you have to do and remember under stress the better.  And like I said earlier, until you get on, they make great Snicker pouches :-)

hold the phone chimp, I meant to say horizontal. LOL I carry mine horizontal because there is a much more easier transition from drawing your mag to your handgun, at least for me. Eitherway, carry your extra mags with the bullet's facing down if you choose this.

Just practice whatever you decide with an EMPTY gun/mag, or better yet....buy training dummy rounds. These little things are great! Esp for gun clearing drills.

Megyst-  Although we carry our mags differently, the main point here for you to learn from us is when you get on and do carry a firearm and magazines, practice whatever you feel works best for you.  Practice, Practice and more Practice, someday it may SAVE YOUR LIFE OR SOMEONE ELSES!!!   Good luck to you and Stay Safe.

I need one after my off-duty hussel, 35/hr. and they tried to jip us out of an hour because nothing broke out. of course, me being me.....wasn't going to have ANY of that! Got my money full up! :) btw...hate the club/bar scene! Oh well, with gas prices, I'll take a few jobs a month.

Going clockwise, I have my duty pistol on my strong side, behind that my double cuff pouch. Glove pouch in the center of my back, then spray on my week side, followed by my flashlight, then asp, and last taser. I told my chief I need to gain some weight so I can have a little room on my belt, it's getting a little crowded.

i agree with michigan. my mags are horizontal on my strong side. its a short distance and it works for me. i've trained with them that way and its just second nature now.

I only use my gun side hand for my gun and cuff keys. I keep all my force options/ tool primarily available to my weak side hand. I keep my OC on my gun side simply because that's where there's room. So for OC I have to do a reach across. My mag pouch allows me to pull the mags out horizontally, tip them vertical and they go straight up to reload. Cuffs are easily accessible for both hands, but like I said, primarily for my weak side hand (I've been experimenting with my cuffs in the front and in the back). Baton is definitely stronger and a quicker draw for my left hand, but again, accessible for both since it's at the front of my hip. Radio is at about the side of my hip (which makes me a bit wide to sit in desk chairs). My flashlight is a small reach back for my weak side hand. Since it never gets used, I keep my dept. required PAM/ CPR mask and medical gloves in the back on a carabineer.

Here's my logic... If I use all my less/non lethal tools in my weak hand, my strong side hand is always available to transition to my gun. If my gun is already drawn, I can use my radio, pull out my cuffs, change magazines, get my flashlight. The only other thing that my gun side hand is responsible for is my cuff keys, but when would I ever have my gun drawn and need to reach for my cuff keys (double-locking isn't that important)

Why don't you put  the spray between your ASP and cuffs...that way it's on you off side and you don't have to reach accross.
