| Posted 2 months ago 8 years overseas 4 year tour Misawa AB Japan 1979- 1983, and 4 year tour at Yokota AB Japan 1988-1992. My family and I enjoyed those tours my daughters were born in Japan. |

| Posted 2 months ago Like everyone else I started out at Lackland . I've been to different tech schools at Keesler AFB, MS (3 times), Ft Gordon, GA and Sheppard AFB, TX. When I was active duty I was stationed at Vandenburg AFB, CA. I am now in the Reserves out of Youngstown OH. I've been to Elmendorf AFB,AK for my two weeks training. Be save to all of you going back overseas and thank you to all of you that have served and are still serving! CB |

| Posted about 1 month ago After Lackland (July to December 1984) I was at Bitburg AB Germany, then onto Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs with a 6-month TDY at Wadi Qena, Egypt. Many TDY's, the most memorable being Tempelhof in West Berlin before the wall came down. |

| Posted 12 days ago I was not Airforce.I was Army,but we had the same duties.As for where I served;1945-San Fernando La Union on the island Luzon,P.I.-1946 Seoull,Korea. later back to the Philipines to Manila,1947 IchieGaea in Japan at the warcrime trials near Tokio,Returning to the states in Dec,1947 to Fort Lawton,next to Carlisle Barracks,Pa. Went west to Sandia Base,New Mexico.,down to Killeen AirForce Base.Later down to Ft Bliss.A year later up to Ft. Hood,Texas. By the ship USS Geiger to Italy,Caserne Chinotto,Vicenza,Italy,transfered to Camp Darby,by Livorno.Back to the states to California,Ft Ord,Camp Roberts and then H.L.M.R by Jolon.,Ca. Next back to Europe,Berlin after 3 months out to Alpha Check Point at Helmstedt Support Detachment,Helmstedt.Next back to the states to Fort Jackson where on1st June,1965 I rteired.. |
