| Posted about 1 month ago Been attending the school of hard knocks since 1969 . Have taken many , many courses but still no degree. Studing hard though. My favorite class was camoflage tech. Being 6'6" and learning how to hide behind a blade of grass was invaluable in some spots. Most hated class was learning that you had to take in more than you shoveled out.

| Posted about 1 month ago LOL nikk. Attending Craven Community College here. Favorite class so far has been Organized Crime. Even the paper was a joy to write. The worst class for me so far has been Intro to Computers. I don't understand a darned thing about these things and don't care to learn about Office 2007. Even College Algebra was more enjoyable! Just say NObama! |

| Posted about 1 month ago Used to be a firefighter for nine yrs., took lots of courses in that field and was three courses shy of my degree when I was hurt on the job & it ended my career shortly thereafter. Most of my fellow firefighters were glad to see me go 'cuz I'm female. Then I worked on an Air Force Base as a civilian cop. Later I worked at California State Prison-Los Angeles County (CSP-LAC) for more than 2 1/2 yrs. After many yrs. of enforced isolation......I'm now free, and going to school for a degree in forensic science. I still have to choose a school to transfer to for my B.A., whether it's in Connectticut, Michigan, Virginia, Texas, California, Oregon......????? Who knows where I'll end up. My favorite class so far in CJ was Investigations. Favorite non-CJ course was an independent study English class (Fiction Writing). My hardest non-CJ course was Biology. My hardest CJ course so far has been Juvenile Justice. My favorite course outside of school has been with my former marine (you're NEVER an "ex-marine"!) foster father, who's a collector, teaching me how to shoot different weapons. And my most favorite time w/weapons was when I was at an outdoor range during a requalification, and the rangemaster offered me a job on the spot! But like Nikkochey, for yrs. (since '55) I've been a long time student of the school of hard knocks. I've not yet obtained my degree from there either. Sure do pray to one of these days though. LOL! And, like you, I've been trying to hide most of my life! Yeah, isn't the taste awful? If you ask me, it's 'bout time for some sweet tea. |

| Posted about 1 month ago P.S. I and hoping to graduate in 2010, cross my fingers. Then I plan on going into the world of forensic science, with a bachelor's degree in that field. Preferrably for a lab that works for law enforcement full time and not a private company. I would like to explore different avenues......botany, forensic serology, ballistics, paint comparisons, organics, microbiology, fibers, etc......and perhaps become a specialist in just one aspect of forensics. I'd like to be a person who helps solve crimes that leads to the arrest & conviction of criminals, and render help to their victims somehow too. As I never was, and not been. I'd like to make a difference for someone. Is that too ridiculous for words? |

| Posted about 1 month ago I have just graduated from gloucester county college in NJ. I was just accepted to Rutgers, camden. My favorite class I took was Criminal Law. It took you into the cases from the past and showed what was right and what was wrong. I learned alot and actually enjoyed learning it. The worst class i have ever taken was spanish! Nothing towards spanish speaking people at all but why do we have to learn spanish here in america?!!? Did you know that its an insult for us to go there and not know at least the basics!!!! Come'on America, its not that I am being racist, I like spanish people, they are hard workers and great people! However this is the U.S.A!!!! |

| Posted about 1 month ago I started at YTI Career Institute in July of 2007 and will finish in August of 2008. I'll be done in 3 or 4 weeks! I just finished my externship with the Clearfield County (PA) Sheriff's Office and loved every minute of it! My favorite class in school was the Police Operations class. My least favorite was Computer Fundamentals (because we did that in Highschool). I plan on attending the next police acadamey at Indiana University of Pennsylvania then completeing the Sheriff's Academy at Penn State. I wish everybody the best in their future endeavors and pray for God's blessings on all law enforcement personnel. |

| Posted about 1 month ago I started taking classes at Everest University and have transferred to American Military University. I left Everest because of some conflict with the school and financial aid. American Military University is cheaper, better professors, and I can get my BA for a little more than what I was paying to obtain my Associates there at Everest. My favorite class at Everest was my biological evidence class. My least favorite was computer applications. So far at American Military University, my favorite class has been Introduction to Law Enforcement. |

I plan to graduate in February of 2009 and am going to law school as soon as I finish. My ultimate goal is to be a prosecutor but would like to do some work in corrections such as probation/parole officer or even better, JUDGE! |

| Posted 5 days ago OSU. Least favorite class: Patrol procedures...Just because being extracted from a vehicle is painful. (Kidding) In all honesty, I have more problems with the General ed stuff, than the LE, I like all my LE classes. |

| Posted 1 day ago I'm attending Columbia Southern starting in September. It's a completely online school which is easier for me being in the military and currently deployed to Afghanistan. I don't have a favorite or least favorite yet. I'm sure that I'll hate gen ed though cause I never really liked school back as a kid. Looking forward to going to school though. |

| Posted 1 day ago Check my page for list of educational degrees, currently finishing up my Master's at American Military University, Upon completion will receive a degree in Homeland Security with an emphasis on WMD's and a MPA, with a certificate in Emergency Management. Completion relies on sucessful medical procedures and ample time to complete the remaining 1/3 of the degree. ...in order for evil to triumph, good men do nothing...........
