The team that I am on just got four fullface masks with comm.  I don't know what kind they are since I have only strapped one on once and that was day before yesterday.  I like them and with a little practice they will be very useful.

Our Team purchased 5 Divator Mkii Face Masks with the OTS Buddy phone with surface unit, Wirleless with an 1800 feet range. we have tested it up to 200 feet from the source 10 to 45 feet of water and have had great results. We have a lot of Industry in Calcasieu Parish, La., so we obtained a Buffer zone grant through Homeland Security.  You can not believe how important it to be able to hear eye word spoken. In 5 months we have recovered 5 cars and 2 Bodys on Dive Ops with the new equipment, so for us it has paid for itself.

I can't think of the name of ours... They're a little old.   We are completely self funded except for vehicle maintenance and fuel, so some of our gear is out of date but still gets the job done for us.

Ours are OTS but I don't know what model.  They are wireless and the distance has not been tested yet.

Well it takes time with grants but I was told that my grant was approved for all the diving equipment and swift water rescue equip., but it still may be 5 or 6 months before I can go shopping thanks for all the input.

We use OTS and it works well in all types of conditions.

Make sure you still practice hand and/or rope signals.  It is really frustrating to be on a large dive call out with multiple agencies and nobody can communicate because they didn't get the same underwater communication equipment, and the guys all forgot their signals.
