Posted 2 months ago I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all of you who posted such wonderful posts on Another Officer Down thread about Officer Jason Fishburn of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. I wanted to give a special shout out to Nikkochey for creating it for me as I was such a mess at the time it happened I didn't know what to do so Thank You Nikk for everything. I wanted to give a special thank you to Blue Star for also aiding me in my campaign to get the word out about Jason and for getting me hooked up with COPS Ministry. Thank You Bluestar. To RPL and Robocop, you guys are the best! Thank You both for all of your continued support. Thank You to everybody who has kept Jason in their prayers and for posting words of encourgement to him and his family. My PL family is a mighty strong one and thats what I love most about each and everyone of you. As you may already know Jason is supposed to be transfered within a week to a rehab hospital if all continues to go well at Wishard Memorial Hospital where he currently is at. The reason for this thread is #1 to say Thank You to everybody who took time out of their already very busy and hectic life and spend a minute or two with GOD in prayer for Jason and his family for a speedy yet full and complete recovery of all his injuries, and #2 I was just over at Another Officer Down thread and noticed there had been 407 replies since it's inception last week! That is amazing! Thank You! But, I just printed off the last of those 407 replies to give to Jason's father Dennis tomorrow 07-24-2008, and I thought to myself how cool it would be if I was able to hand him 500 replies tomorrow instead! Only this time, Jason's family has been curious to know how far all of these prayers are coming from and I believe someone told me that they had be re-deployed back to Iraq and sent me a message saying that they were praying for Jason over there! So if you all would be so kind as to take a second and go over to Another Officer Down and simply type praying for you in ( then put in your city and state) that would be awesome! And if 93 people did that before I wake up at 0600 hours so I can print off 500 replies that would be so cool! Thanks everyone. If you like this idea please just bump it up and then go post over at Another Officer Down. I remain, your little sis in blue, who would gladly die for you. |

| Posted 29 days ago Just wanted you to know Jason went home today. Two months to the day after his shooting. He got on the radio and announced to dispatch that he was in service. After that he went home rested and went out this evening to watch a Fever basketball gave. Cause you know we Hoosiers love our b-ball.
Being grown up has less to do with doing what you want to. And more to do with not doing everything you are able to do. |
