Posted 4 months ago Hi y'all! Sorry for not being around for awhile. Had some family problems crop up. My mother's nursing home basically tried to kill her about the middle of June. We almost lost her the night after she was admitted to the hospital. Then I had to find her a new nursing home, and start the ball rolling got the Ohio Dept. of Health, the Ohio Regional Ombudsman's office, and the Ohio Attorney general's office to investigate her old nursing home. Then hubby had his dialysis catheter removed because his graft was "working fine". He now has a new catheter, and is looking at getting a new graft. THEN, mom went back to the hospital with blood sugar in the upper 400's, a UTI, and non responsive. I guess there's just no rest for the wicked, huh? Lol! With everything going on, I won't be around much for awhile. My day starts at 3:30am right now, and I'm getting an average of about 3 hours sleep a night. Take care, all, keep the bird tales comming!
