Posted 4 months ago www.opacity.us is a website by a guy who goes to abandoned sites and takes really great, creepy photography. He doesn't believe in ghosts or spirits, but people still post comments claiming they see stuff in his photos. It's a really good website. He's gone to Eastern State Penitentiayry, Islip Mental Hospital, abandoned prisons, etc. |

| Posted 3 months ago Well, if anyone ever makes it down this way, I'll take you to the closed center for persons with mental retardation (Hissom Memorial Center). It's been closed for 14 years. I've been in it a couple of times and it is super creepy. I don't believe in ghosts (sorry to those who do), but if there were such a thing, they'd be there. People have told me stories about hearing crying/splashing/etc. in the empty indoor swimming pool (pretty cool to look at). The housing units are intact and are very similar to some in the photographs. What I find most interesting is the same as the photos - the personal touches or furniture and stuff left behind. Hissom has a lot of medical stuff and even some chemicals, etc. There are no lights and in the daytime, it is still pitch black in some of the buildings. Very spooky. I've been thinking about going back with my camera, but I need to do some checking. There is a police officer that lives on grounds, as they used to have a problem with people breaking in, etc. They leased out different parts over the years, but there is currently only one business there. The place is also next to a juvenile delinquent facility and that sort of adds to the creep factor for some people. |

| Posted about 1 month ago I wish that I had the pic's, but about this time last year, I went on a night time tour of an old (1600's) New England cemetery. Didn't catch anything on my camera, but a woman in the group had actually captured ectoplasm with her camera. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Freakin awesome. He post photo of the state hospital in my area. Never would have thought any one would know about the state hospital that isn't from around here. In our area it is famed for having a lot of haunting activity and a lot of people like going there for ghost hunting. cool as heck. |

| Posted about 1 month ago well for me it was just an old house i have seen things worst than this..... but it was nice to see those pictures try to look in you tube something that will make u feel creepy and with the felt of puking look baby alien in you tube is a green baby WITH THE EYES ALL RED AND ITS ALL WEID CHECK IT ON YOUTUBE or check bloody merry but watch out it could go on your house |

Very Cool! Wish I could get some photos like that, I take a lot of photos at Civil War sites, but never saw anything spooky!
