I'll start this off....my babydog Punk decided to go mudbogging...she is normally white.....after her slip and slide through the garden she ended up COMPLETELY brown....everywhere...even her ears....it was great....I laughed...until she hit me full force (while in uniform) and made me completely brown too!!

Good one!  My red-nosed pit, Leiua, is always doing funny stuff.  Tonight at about 2:00 am, I heard a huge thump coming from the back of the house.  All of the sudden Leiua tears down the hall and around the corner at full speed, dashes across the living room and dining room and slams into the back of the dog crate.  I got up to see what the heck caused that and because I thought she was scared.  She was calmly lying inside the crate and looked up at me with that "what?" expression, like this was an every day thing.

I went toward the back of the house and found her "baby", (a "blind" Webkinz frog, so called because she ate the black plastic eyes).  She had been playing with it and slung it down the hallway into the guest bathroom.  It landed with such a thump, it startled her and caused her to take off in that dead heat.

Now I have to admit that this may have been funnier to me because:  1.  It's late... really late; 2.  My husband was in bed and none too pleased to learn the dog was practicing for the speed trials at the next kennel club match; 3.  It doesn't take much to amuse me.

That's totally awesome! I thought at first that a REAL frog chased her! Punk runs from grasshoppers, which is extremely funny to me because she's a 74 lb lapdog!!

LOL - yeah, Leiua is a big baby, too.  She has really surprised me with the stuffed frog, as I thought she would tear it to pieces within a day (like the rottweiler did with all hers).  I found this toy across the street in the pasture, washed it in bleach and dried it, then gave it to the pit.  She carries that thing around in her mouth and licks it and just sits with it.  She rarely throws it in the air, but sometimes...  I will tell her to bring me the frog and she will.  I hug the frog and tell her it's mine, then I throw it.  She runs after it and rescues it.  Leiua picks it up in her mouth and lovingly takes it across the room away from me to save it.

I have to wash ithe frog about every 2 weeks because it gets so nasty and smelly.  She is also just like a little kid with their security blanket.  She hates for me to take the frog to wash it.  Leiua will try to take it from me, sneak it out of the laundry pile, etc.  Then she will watch me whenever I go into the utility room.  When she sees the frog come out of the washer, she wants it.  She isn't happy when it goes into the dryer, but she loves it when it comes out.  I think she likes the warmth and all that.

Oh - the frog's eyes lasted about two weeks, then she ate them.  The stuffing inside the eye (for that bug-eyed look) lasted about 2 months before she started pulling it out.  Since she got most of one eye's out, I removed it all to keep the temptation at bay.  She hasn't tried to get to the stuffing or beads in the body and i hope she won't, but you know...

Bella is very clumsy. every time she comes up the wooden back porch, whether it is wet or dry, she slides every time because she is going way too fast around the corner. i also enjoyed the one day she got teased by a fly. it would land on one side of her back and when she looked back  to try and catch it in her mouth it would fly to the other side. the fly teased her a few more times flying from side to side on her back before bella finally gave up. idk, maybe im just easily amused!

Hello I am aimee I live in wa & am training to become a correctional officer then eventually a LEO in King County and my babies are:

Peto-american pitt/rotweiller, 16 yrs old he has done quite a few funny things his favorite is (and I don't know why) he hides my husbands work boots(he is a longshoreman here in wa & gets up at 2am every morning) so I am constantly helping him look for his boots Peto always puts them in different places too, under computer table, in the bathtub etc. it drives my husband crazy but all I can do is laugh

Then there is Buddy-3yr old rednose pitt male his funny ritual is pulling the blankets off me if he thinks i have slept in too late although 5am is "too early" it never fails he does it again.....and again.....and again until I get up he is like my 4-legged alarm clock he also likes to put his BABIES in my shoes

Last but not least My Madison 2 1/2 yr old female rednose pitt she is CRAZY.....she jumps for flies(usually gets them on the first try) she has like 10 tennis balls and she will run around the house and up the stairs, tears through my bedroom jumps on the bed then runs back down stairs picks up a diffrent one & does it all over again until she has done it with every single ball, she also inspects her food  at every meal, sniffs it, rolls it around etc.

My babies are the craziest but I luv them the way they are although my 11 & 15 yr old daughters think they have mental issues I tell them

"Hey this house is anything BUT normal so they are right where they belong.

Your dogs sound like a lot of fun and excitement!

My rottweiler had to go to the vet today and the pit absolutely demanded to go, too.  Last time I took only the rottweiler, she had to stay overnight for two nights (surgery) and the pit followed me around for an hour and a half when I got home.  She just talked and whined, like she really wanted to know what I had done with her sister.  Today when I grabbed the one leash, the pit went absolutely nuts, barking and jumping and blocking the door.  She didn't calm down until I grabbed her leash, too.  Then we drove to the vet's and she had to sniff everyone that came in to see the other dog, etc.  She was not about to let me leave her home alone.  I don't think she trusted that I would bring her sister back!

I have two Father & daughter, Mischief and Gracie.. They both sleep at the foot of my bed on their mattresses (per se) they both snore and wakes me up constantly. I think I need to buy some earplugs..lol

What Mischief does is this, when groceries are brought home and all the bags are on the floor he sniffs them when he finds the Chewy strips he removes that box and retreats to an area he feels safe. He opens the box and removes the strips and then lets Gracie have some.

He does this everytime the groceries are brought home if he doesn't smell the Chewy strips he just walks away from the groceries.

yes they are shellgame they keep me on my toes, but I would not trade them for anything. We use to live in Kent, it is a small city here in wa and the city of kent passed a law saying all pittbulls were dangerous and we had to pay extra for home ins, city tax and other crap so we moved to southpark in the city of seattle. I understand that sometimes pitts are bad but I really believe it is because of the owners. It just made me sad that they are discreminated against because of ***holes who see them as moneymakers instead of loving, funny, affectionate family members.

when i lived in florida my friend had a pitt and we went out to the country and let the pitt ride in the back of the pickup. after going under some low branches in the road my friend slammed on the brakes and jumped out of the pickup. i got out too and low and behold there was his pit hanging from a branch by his teeth. he had jumped up and grabbed on as we went under and didn't let go. he was suspended there growling at the branch long enough for my friend to put the tailgate down and back the pickup. my friend had to jump in the back and lift the dog up and coax him to let go.

It's too bad you had to move.  Breed-specific legislation is a bunch of hooey!  It is all in how the animals are raised.

Now that would have made a great video!  I bet it was funny.

Mine has recently picked up an odd habit.  If she gets fussed at or after my wifes two Chuhuahas pick on her she goes and lays on her pillow and sucks her dewclaw.

Yes..the big ferocious Pit Bull sucks her thumb
