| Posted 3 months ago I love scary movies, especially anything by Stephen King. The one I can't shake is Pet Cemetery.......guess because I've always had pets. Support bacteria. They're the only culture some people have. |

| Posted 3 months ago When I was about 6 or 7, I remember The Exorcist scaring the living s*** out of me. But since then, I'd have to put my "fear stock" into movies with less gore factor and more psychological creepiness. (I can usually think of some titles, but after 13 hrs of night shift, my brain's a little dry of ideas, LOL) |

| Posted 3 months ago Usually I only remember the scenes that really creeped me out. Like when I was younger and the scene with all the snakes in Raiders of The Lost Ark. Plus the opening sequence in the junkyard during 13 Ghosts. Really creepy when you and your partner are on midnight shift and in a dark alley and he starts reciting the latin from that movie LOL. But priceless when he gets creeped out and speeds out of there. Something is always happening, but when it happens, people don't always see it, or understand it, or accept it. |

Oh-- and i just remembered-- i havent seen it yet but: The Happening - is a new one-- sposed to be hella good- And if you are a true horror fan... theres a few series out there that are good: 1) Masters of Horror- (avail on Showtime)(people get wacked in the most disturbing ways in this -- its great) 2)Fear Itself-(avail on cable)Both of these have borrowed the winning formula from Band of Brothers by electing to have the best directors and writers of their class come out and put on a 1 hr horror block of awesome entertainment. Each episode has its own style both for cameras, casting, directing and of course theme. One week u could be watching a monster of the lake skulking in the woods going after the campers- the next its a survivor story of a man forced to canalize his family- and then turns into a zombie.. (hell yes). There is pleanty of blood and crazy random gore. Totally killer- no pun intended. "What is the maximum effective range of an excuse? ... ZERO." |

| Posted 2 months ago As a kid it was always Nightmare On Elm St. That ended when I saw Robert England (Freddy Kruger) and realized he wasn't a monster. Now days there is not many movies that "scare" me. The best one I seen in quite a while was Saw. Great ending!! |

| Posted 2 months ago I saw the "Blair Witch Project" when it first came out and I had no idea what it was about. It was the second day or so of the release in the theatres so I hadn't even seen the trailers yet. I was pretty disappointed when it started looking like a low budget documentary... then the suspense started building and it got more interesting. The woods where it was shot looked pretty similar to the ones I grew up in (a little thinner)but same types of trees and granite rocks strewn about -This probably led to my experience. It was the freakiest thing I'd ever seen right up until the last second... so fake it was obvious. Movies just lack the suspense these days... that's what gets me... not the special effects. |

| Posted 2 months ago Same for me! I saw the "edited for tv" version when I was in elementary school and have NEVER been able to watch it again. If I see it is coming on tv, I try and avoid the channel just so I don't get a glimpse of that demon face! cuffs316 says ...

| Posted 22 days ago "The Thing" With Kurt Russel. It was I guess a sort of remake of "Ice Station Zebra" The Thing was based off of the book "Who goes there?" and so was "Ice Station Zebra." The Thing scared the pi$$ outa me when I was little. Aliens that, if they even touch you, can infect you slowly, copy you, separate from itself like an amoeba, and 'be' you or whatever it contacted before in it's life or any amalgamation in between. I almost cried when it killed the dogs though. MESSED UP! |
