I definitely do not like the tone of the last two posts by Chris in the "Recently Banned Members" thread, sounds like a threat to me (but hey, who am I to judge, I only did 30 years behind the badge). I have never taken kindly to threats, just don't like them, or respect those who initiate them.  I hope that everyone can adjust to the censorship and the threat of Banishment if you disagree with the powers that be here.  I will be going stealth for a while to see how things pan out.  Good Luck to everyone here, there are some great people on this site (Both LEO and non-Leo) who are a wealth of LEO career information and comedic wit.  I have enjoyed meeting you and spending time in the threads. I hope that the dark cloud that now hangs over PL does not inhibit you from expressing your opinions or standing up for your fellow LEOs when the need arises. If this post is viewed as being an attack on a fellow PL member and it is deemed necessary to Ban me, then so be it...........that was not the intent here.....just trying to express my heartfelt thoughts about an issue that has impacted me deeply. I am not a party to any group effort to exercise control or initiate problems for PL, this post represents my own personal feelings about an issue, and does not, in any way, reflect the feelings or thoughts of any other group or individual.  I expect that this will be shut down and vaulted because of its content......how very sad.

Sorry, I was out of state on a 1200-mile bike trip (my quiet little Honda amidst the roar of a bunch of Harleys, but it was still a blast,) so I haven't checked on PL in several days....so,  What's been going on?!?  (...just wondering..)

Well all I can say is as long as we do not break the rules we can say how we feel,  just do not say anything about the other group we can still show our support for those who cannot speak here, Chris has made it well know he will not change what has happened he has put out his rules,  so we can still say we feel it was wrong and could have been work out we can do this without disrespecting CC or his site,  we can still show support for our brothers,  we can still show police officers will stand by each other  and we are a family,   I just wish Chris would have listen to some of the ideas,  now I am concern were things are going I use to have a good feeling about this group and had respect for CC I thought he was far and just but now I do not have that same feeling I am only one officer no big wig with powers to make things happen,  I am just an Old retired officer that belongs to groups,  like I said I use to hand out card telling other officers about this site but those days are gone also,  all I have is my voice and the keyboard to make my thoughts know I belong to several groups that sponsor this site I feel I will be dropping those memberships what  I tell them will be my business no one else,  I do not believe in censorship I fought so people would have the right to free voice as many others have done,  I fought to protect those rights for all , then I became a police officer and gave all I could to keep people safe so they can stay safe and have free speech,   I have stood On line protecting groups free speech even though I did not like what they had to say but I stood the line with my brothers so others could say what they wanted one time in Pulaski Tn I stood the line so a group for people that hated everyone but there own kind,   I stood there while they called every name in the book the people on the other side called them every name you could think of and I wanted to be there with them because I fought so everyone no matter who they were Could have free speech so then we were called everything from both sides but this is America and we have the right to freedom of speech and that fight still goes on today many more will fight the same fight so everyone can have the freedom of speech no matter who they are and it concerns me were things will go when we no longer have that freedom why have so many fought and so many gave there all will it all be for nothing
