| Posted 3 months ago The Way I see it, it was a great move for McCain, she has brought the NRA, Unions, Environmentalists, Military, Christians, Familys, Law Enforcement, a proven record of change for the better, executive experienceand handicaps in. Did I forget anyone else?

| Posted 3 months ago Very astute move and very well kept secret. She fits in the jigsaw puzzle better than the ones that were expected to be picked. I see a lot of Dems who favored Billary to perhaps choose her. Much will be said about her lack of foriegn affairs experience, but neither Obama nor Lieberman have ANY executive experience. Fox News also has played up the Obama gaffe on her announcement as "Obama campaign disses Gov. Palin small town origins." That's sure going to go over with many inAmerica... This introduces a very interesting 9 weeks of campaigning before the election. Don't sweat the petty things...and don't pet the sweaty things

Who in Alaska isn't under investigation/criminal indictment??? lol It's almsot as corrupt as the local politics here.
On the shallow note, she's gorgeous, but don't much else about her, other than she's a self-proclaimed soccor mom. |

Yeah, you wish it could be that simple.
From: http://celebgalz.com/sarah-palin-under-investigation/ Sarah Palin, 44, Governor of Alaska, has some controversies attached. There is a controversy over her ex brother-in-law, Mike Wooten. Mike Wooten and Sarah Palin’s sister divorced. Mike Wooten worked as a state trooper.
The legislative panel have a $100,000 budget to investigate if Sarah Palin fired Alaska’s Public Safety Commissioner because he refused to fire Mike Wooten. Sarah Palin has denied her involvement. Palin denied having her hand in her husband, Todd Palin, dialing Wooten’s bosses. Palin’s administrative staff also made many calls to Wooten’s superiors. When questioned, The Palins alleged that Mike Wooton drank beer in his patrol car, and fired a Taser at his step son, age 11. Mike Wooton was accused of threatening the safety of the Sarah Palin’s father. |

| Posted 3 months ago Seems a cagey move on his part, but it's really too early to tell. Let's see what the mud mongers come up with this weekend to counter this move my McCain. I thought the positive congratulatory television ad by McCain yesterday was a good touch. |

| Posted 3 months ago OUTSTANDING!! I think this is probably the best pick Sen. McCain could have made. Although I am no expert on the Alaskan Governor but she seems to be very focused with a great track record for the Republican Party. This may also help secure some of those Hillary suporters that are so angry with Sen. Obama. |

| Posted 3 months ago Its an awsome pick cause I like her veiws. BUT. I somehow think hes just looking to get the votes that Clinton would have recieved ref the female majority....We'll see how it plays out....I do like the pick thought..... |

| Posted 3 months ago Not only is this a great pick but, Senator McCain will probably soon be President McCain because of this move. Those who would have previously voted for Hillary will now vote for him. I don't think he could have picked a better running mate. He definitely won't regret it no matter which way the election goes. |

| Posted 3 months ago Ok guys, I am not a LEO but was invited to post on this topic as I am an Alaska resident. I live in Wasilla, where Palin was mayor before rising to governer of Alaska. On the surface, it appears to have been a good move for McCain; but in the long run I believe he will regret it. Sarah's husband Todd admitted outright that he pressured Monagan (former DPS commish) to fire Trooper Wooten, AFTER Trooper Wootens activities had been reviewed and an appropriate disciplinary action handed out. Also, Sarah's new DPS commish, Kopp, resigned after 2 weeks. Now nobody wants the job. Furthermore, Alaskan politicians DO have a HUGE black eye right now. They ARE corrupt, many are serving time now, or under indictment, or being investigated. If she isn't guilty, I think at the polls she will be guilty by association. My .02 without truth there is no justice |

I agree, but all politicians have that streak as well. But, we shall see and we'll see what comes out of the investigation. I think she is a good pick, and will get the Repubs over the top and bet Nobama. Certified wiseacre. Proudly serving since 1986.
Bring back Reagan and Patton....... |

| Posted 3 months ago Good Move, She has more excutive experiance than all of them and she hunts, likes men and is good looking! I'll bet the Nobama camp is having a shit fit.. “Most People are like slinkies” – “not really good for anything”…. but they do bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs! |

Amen! She's got the experience in the executive branch of state govt, small business, and a proven track record of doing the right thing even when it hurts. Palin/Jindal 2012!!!!!!!! Go out today and preach the gospel, and if you must, use words. St. Francis of Assisi |

| Posted 3 months ago I was really hoping to see Romney on the ticket and figured that would be the very best choice he could have made. I had not heard of this young lady and it was a real surprise. Now looking at her and what she has done and stands for I have to admit that it was an outstanding choice! This will give all of those females that wanted so much to have a female in the White House and I'll bet that many of those that supported Hillary will not support McCain. They have attacked her on her lack of experience yet she has more experience than Obama! LOL In addition she is known to be honest to a fault and someone that can be a pain in the ass unless the Government runs properly and ethically! Wholesome, middle-class, PTA, Hockey-mom, Small town community leader to Mayor to Governor of a huge state that she has run very well since she took over. Right wing enough to please the very conservative but she also has that independent streak that shows she thinks and doesn't rubber stamp Republican ideas. NRA, pro-life, and young and pretty. I think McCain found himself a winner! |

| Posted 3 months ago McCain's timing for announcing his VP pick couldn't have been better. All the news was a'buzz about "Obama's eloquent speech" and then McCain makes his announcement. The news channels immediately squash the Obama commentaries and focus on McCain's VP pick. Couldn't have been better. I agree that McCain made a VERY good strategic move here. His choice will bring in many, many different interest groups and people that were thinking Obama was the better choice are now lookiing towards McCain. This is the most interesting election in my lifetime and the way the media is handling it all makes me continually laugh. God bless America, for only here can we have all of the above and still be able to walk to our polls to elect that one person that we feel will make the absolute best President of the United States of America. "Courage is endurance for one moment more." |

I understand your views on the wrong doings of the Governer, she and her husband, just like everyone else is a human being, we all make mistakes, bad decisions, ect... no one is perfect and if you think so your living in a fantasy world, come to think of it, its not perfect there either. Would you rather have like one of brothers said a "full bag of shit or a half bag of shit"? I truely believe that this is an awesome pick. |

| Posted 3 months ago I think this was a great move on his part. As for the investigation, who cares. I'm sure the liberal media will find other trash to throw around. No one should be surprised. I think she is an overall good person and McCain already had my vote but he definitly does now! |
