I think the worst day in December to have a birthday besides the 25th, is the 26th which is my birthday. Of course I tell everybody I was almost a Christmas Bell!!! (Get it?) I have never had a birthday party in my life as who wants to party the day after Christmas? For a long time my birthday cake was a pumpkin pie (Christmas Day leftovers) with candles! This was better than the old fruit cake with a candle I must admit! Growing up I had an older brother and a younger brother and my parents would buy equal amount of gifts for each of us. The only problem was they would forget about my birthday so come Christmas morning I was short one gift and received it the next day. All joking aside, I had one of the best childhoods anyone could ask for, so much love and affection in our family and so much fun!

I agree, my birthday is the 27th of December. It's always been kind of rough, especially when my husband has to try to get the day off.

Well, my birthday is 12/12, and I love the number 12! I wish they just didn't have to come so fast! Yes, birthdays in December are terrible, and it's better to have one before Christmas than after (when people are broke).  But you can usually time your birthday during your Christmas holidays, and there are always specials in the travel world during those times. Therefore, I treat myself to a vacation every year for my birthday! It's to make up for all the crappy birthdays I had earlier in life. So, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade! December babies are the best, most loving people in the world. At least, I am!
