What scared the BEJESUS out of you in a Godzilla flick.

Posted 2 months ago My favorite spine chiller: Godzilla 1985 - The Super X just finished firing three cadmium shells down Godzilla's cake hole. He looks at it for a few moments, twitching spasmodically..... and all you can hear is this giant's heartbeat, as he puts his head down as if to say "Damn, you know..... I'm not feeling so good." Right before he crashes into the skyscraper, apparently dead. Followed closely by the part in Godzilla Mothra King Ghidra (2002) where Godzilla swallows the miniature submarine, the pilot fires a drill tipped missile...... barely escaping through the wound.... and is chased by a violently enraged Godzilla which is staring at him through a cloud of its own blood..... right before Godzilla tries to fire its heat ray again and explodes, leaving only..... a beating heart. (OK, its the damn heartbeat...... gives me the shakes every time.) Every policeman is my friend. Every firefighter is my idol. Every Soldier and Marine is my hero. Every Sailor is my shipmate, and every Seabee is my brother. |
