| Posted 2 months ago The Galveston Police Department Dive Academy has had to postpone the Underwater Crime Scene Series programs due to Hurricane Ike. We are hoping to restart in 2009 and will offer Weapons and Body Recovery and Skeletal Remains and Small Object Recovery specialty courses. Once we are able to restart the Academy we will also offer Public Safety Diver Certifications. These are courses carded by both the Public Safety Diving Association (PSDA www.Publicsafetydiving.net) and Emergency Response Diving (ERDi http://www.tdisdi.com/index.php?site=4) We will send a press release out via PSDiver Monthly when we have a new schedule.
