Compared to the Etch-a-sketch drawings they use now, any of 'em were! At least back in my day (the TV was coal-fired and steam-driven), the animation artists were human beings, not digital-manipulatros... and they used "stretch-retract when the charcter they were animating moved. More lifelike than the garp seen today!

Bugs Bunny (60's & 70's versions with Tweety & Sylvester, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, etc.)


Popeye (the old black & white version)
