Season Evaluation to Date

Posted 2 months ago OK, 4 games into 2008 and we are 3-1, with wins over SDSU, MICHIGAN and now PURDUE. Our only bump was MSU. So, after watching all four games I ask for your honest evaluation: HOW WILL ND Do in next 4 games? We play STANFORD at home, then travel to NORTH CAROLINA AND WASHINGTON, and then come back home to face PITTSBURGH. I can see a 4 -0 sweep of these games without having a beer in me and not being too optimistic: NC and PITT are both 3-1, while STANFORD is 3-2 and WASHINGTON 0-4. I worry about the ND FACTOR: Which is that TEAMS ALWAYS GET MOTIVATED TO BEAT THE IRISH. However, I see increasing confidence with Claussen and his team and acceptance from and of Weis, so I predict a 4-0 sweep! GO IRISH! |

| Posted 2 months ago You know how over optimistic I can get over the Irish, but I'm not sure about Butch Davis and NC. I think Pitt at 3-1 is inflated and a win over Ty Willingham is almost assured. Stanford will be close, but a 10-14 point win. I'd love to see 4-0, but would not mind 3-1. |

| Posted 2 months ago I see a sweep. I don't have tix for saturday (my uncle kept them for this game) but I am going anyway. Either p/u tix or sit in the Joyce center drinking beer. As far as the pickle (Clausen), he seems to be doing a bit better, nothing extravagant and he is losing the cocky "I'm a Star" attitude. I think he'll be ok. |

| Posted about 1 month ago As I stated the other day, a sweep may be imminent. Stanford game was good. I was able to get tickets in section 3, aisles 57 and 58, aisle seats. |
