I would say the Philippians. I was their 3 times. It feels like it was just yesterday. Anyone that was there knows what I am talking about.

I have to say my home port of Pearl Harbor.   We never got to our promised port at Subic or Sakata Japan.    Instead we creeped into  scenic places like Adak and Midway.              Of course liberty only amounted to a few hours of drinking while they refueled the Boat!   Then it was back at sea for another month or so.

I asked for all the ports that would take me far away from home and most of them were close.  But I liked Guam the best I believe.

Guam! Why? That was in the middle of nowhere. The ocean was nice and Blue their though. I was in Subic bay when  Mt. Pinatubo blew. What a sight that was.

Any Port that is perfect for Diving is fine by me, for there is nothing like an awesome dive. For me diving is going to another world so peaceful so graceful, so peaceful. The deeper the better.
