Posted 2 months ago Solo San Joaquin County Sheriff Dept driving by a 7-11 store happens to see a subject inside the store armed with a Shotgun robbing the Store. In progress 211 SO Officer and subject exchange gun fire. Foot pursuit ensues solo SJ SO loses the subject. Stockton Police Department is also heard since this the 7-11 is within the City Limits SO gives the call to PD. At one point the subjects ram the K-9 officer and so it becomes 245 PC on an officer. SPD does a great job stops the pursuit as the subjects are attempting to drive up the wrong way against traffic on I-5. Officer's deployed their Tazors and they did not work on the Subject. Eventually the subject is detained and an SPD Officer radios and request Code 3 Medics for an arm injury and then a short time later another request is made by an Officer and then the Supervisor both stating the Subject stopped breathing and possible no pulse. Subject fought with the officers for a long time and it took a couple of mins for the unit on-scene to get a fill so the fight was on. This pursuit lasted around 1 hour, and the recording is the ending police radio traffic. A solo San JO K-9 Unit in pursuit, with speeds reaching around 100 MPH on surface streets, and matter of fact the pursuit went through the intersection where 2 SPD Cruisers collided last month into each other causing both cars to catch fire, and one officer was trapped. So this pursuit was dangerous, however the SJ JO SO King Unit did a fantastic job and while still in the City California Highway Patrol joined the pursuit. Another three CHP units join the pursuit and one sets up spike strips in French Camp, front tire is spiked on the 99 southbound and the subject continues to drive 90+ MPH with the car smoking and driving on one rim. You can hear the dog barking over his partner he was just as ready as the partner was to get the guy! Ends in Manteca.

Subject is taken into custody after a brief foot chase. Scanner Recording-'Right Click and Save Target As' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Car Jacking BOLO by the San Joaquin County Sheriffs Dispatch Scanner Recording-'Right Click and Save Target As' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stockton Police Officers were called to a large 415 {Disturbance} call on Kirkby in the city. The updates before the officers went 987 {On scene} was that it was a large 943 {fight}. Upon officers arriving it was out of control. You can hear the officers requesting help, most of their radio traffic is barley readable because of all the yelling and struggling. While On the scene dispatch advises that there maybe a stabbing or shooting victim on scene. The officers could not do nothing and when a SGT tells them that they can pull back, which means pull out of the scene to await backup; One Courageous officers replies "We are in the middle of it, just get units here!" Dispatcher advises that 12 units all CODE 3 are en route. Another officers starts trying to broadcast he needs help and he request a CODE 3 Fill. So this was a pretty intense situation.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A felony foot chase turns into a horrific ordeal for two officers both responding to the foot chase. Alot of things go wrong on this call, first the officer that is in the chase has his radio mic keyed while he is running so no other traffic can get through, then when the mic is cleared all the units are over talking each other, and then about four mins into all this chaos, you can barely hear an SPD unit yelling " Code 3 fill officers trapped", the dispatcher she is trying to keep up but she does not even hesitate when she hears the Officer requesting help, she just goes with instinct and she "All Cars All Cars Possible Officers Down Shots Fired", a Sgt terminates the foot pursuit and all resources are committed to the two officers who are still each trapped in their patrol units one is on fire with the officer trapped inside. I must say that I was so impressed by this dispatcher, SPD has good dispatchers I mean they are good if I was alone on a beat I would feel ok knowing that I had dispatchers like Stockton on the other end they get it done. This is a good training playback maybe. No officers died, but one was really hurt bad and flown to UC Davis in Sac and had some paralysis

| Posted about 1 month ago I sure do apologize about causing any offense to you. It was not my intent to do anything that was not appropriate or to irritate anyone. So my apologize if I causes offense to you and I will delete this posting. Like I said I did not think that I would cause any issue doing this or just would not have done it. |
