Now I know there is a lot of support for the McCain/Palin ticket here on PL, but i have to admit the sheep have me and my wife worried that Nobama will be elected. Palin hit Joe Gaffe (Biden) right in the knee with a bat the other night and helped breath some life back into McCain's campaign. The pundits are debating what McCain needs to do during the next debate and essentially the rest of the campaign. What does everyone think he needs to do or what would you like to see him do?

I think he needs to call Nobama out on his voting record, explain why he McCain has not voted for certain things and ramp up the anti Pork bandwagon he is so known for.

Thoughts.......?

he needs to go for the jugular and take the nice guy gloves off but do it the way that Palin did, so nice they won't even know what hit 'em. 

he needs to make a commerical of biden slamming obama prior to being named vp and obama saying he would meet with our enemy leaders w/o preconditions.

You aren't alone in the worry that Obama will win.  We all are, I think. 

This nation's just not ready for Heinz ketchup leadership, though.  McCain's a get-r-done kinda guy and change is coming.   

We need to really be praying here, folks. 

McCain needs to step up his campaign. Get Sarah Palin out there, working the crowds. He should not have given up on Michigan: it sets a very bad tone for the campaign. Yeah...Michigan usually goes Democrat...way too many unions to do otherwise, but you just don't concede a whole state this close to the election.

Everyone is afraid of offending the Obamaites...so what?  The guy is an empty suit, experience wise, and a socialist to boot. McCain needs to ramp up the tempo, be aggressive and show that county that he is the MAN! Look at the last debate. McCain never looked at Obama when he was talking. Obama seldom took his eyes off of McCain. Body language indicates that Obama was hearing something importatnt; he was watching the speaker closely. McCain's showed just the opposite.

Sarah Palin did a good job in the debate the other night, against a far more experienced oponent. She is not a liability, she is an asset to the campaign. Turn her lose, be more aggressive, and don't give up any more states as "lost causes".  It ain't over until the fat lady sings!

Absolutely agree sgt457. DO NOT CONCEDE MICHIGAN! Never quit never surrender. McCain didn't quit all those years ago in N Vietnam, don't start now. Let the Cuda go!

Now Senator Obama and his supporters are very good at pretending to be something they are not...  Change .... We've seen and heard all these things before... They are the same Class warfare positions that completely destroyed our economy during the Carter Adminstration when unemployment exloded... no one could afford a home because interest rates rocketed to over 21% and people waited for ours for their turn to buy 10 gallons of gas if their license plate happened to be odd or even on the right day....   Ladies and Gentlemen ... if we go down the road Senator Obama is proposing those days are going to look like the good old days....  My Friends ... the picture Senator Obama paints with his words and promises that in our current economic situation are simply unattainable....   Does anyone think for a minute that if we put a higher burden on the already struggling small and large businesses alike that they will just absorb them and everything will be terrific.... what will happen if Senatyor Obama is given the opportunity to demonize and punish the entreprenaurs big AND small in our country is that our economy and job market will be devastated for decades....  we simply can't allow that to happen ...  Reality simply doesn't match up with Senator Obama's vision of creating an enormous government that has all the answers and can solve economic crisis by taking from one group and giving things to others...   When the businesses and demonized corporations that create all the jobs and wealth are slowly strangled out of business our economy and your families will be devastated for generations to come.... 

The partisan fighting in our government and me first mentality of win every fight at any cost simply MUST change and I will make it my priority to put partisanship aside and hold the members of Both parties feet to the fire to stop the gridlock and infighting and do what's right for ALL Americans each and every day of my adminstration ....  To me Ladies and gentlemen these are more than just words.... I will start with my own cabinet and put together an administration that includes democrats, republicans and independents that want to cut taxes and work together to riegn in the unbridled spending of your hard earned tax dollars so YOU can kep more of the money you earn....  In our current economic crisis ...Senator Obama's Multiple Trillion dollar promises and indesputeable track record of tax and spend are in my opinion the surest recipe for an economic depression there is .....  We simply can not tax and spend our way to prosperity....  We must all take responsibility for our failures and work together to create our own prosperous futures... 

My friends...let me give you a little Plain Talk for a moment ....  I want each and every American to ask themselves a few questions....   Do you think for a minute that Senator Obama's administration and a Democratic House and Senate will put partisanship aside and be somehow reborn and devoted to working across the isle to do America's business ???

Do you think for a minute that our Federal Government in it's current state is even remotely capable of assuming the role of Providing Health Care and overseeing it in a successful and economically prudent way ??? The gridlock and posturing for position on this one issue alone would bring the peoples business to a halt....

I have fought for this country .... have been fighting my own party and working across party lines my entire career ... I pledge to you...the American People...  that a McCain / Palin aministration will be devoted to working together to get the Americans people business done and to seeing that each and every American keeps more of the money they work for in their own pocket to use as THEY see fit.

I implore you ladies and gentlemen....  give us the opportunity to bring our country together and change the way Washington does business and I pledge to you that we will work each and every day of my administration to see that we do the best job we can to improve the lives of each and every American and provide the economic opportunites that reward hard work and allow success for all Americans that strive toward it...  together we can do it....   This is the REAL CHANGE we need in Washington and the REAL change I want for the American People and for the future of this Great Country.

McCain first of all needs to make up his mind. He continues to go back and forth on some issues. Don't get me wrong I am on the McCain/Palin bandwagon. But to those who have not made up there minds, he is not coming over good with them. All they continue to hear is Obama saying the same thing over and over again.  McCain needs to be more specific on what he is planning for the economy and the budget. He should have Nobama's plan broke down for all to understand. Stop with the attacks.. Say only the truth, no variations. Just the truth. I do agree that they need to let Palin out on her own talking with the people, not the damn reporters. They are only tring to make her look bad. I know she has been going to bars and other places to talk to people. She needs to continue to do that.

I heard that when the did the primaries, Michigan and Florida had changed there primary date to an earlier date. So therfore there votes did not count. Had they counted Hilliary would have been the democratic nominee..

Way to go marqmd!!!  You're all right.  It is time that McCain took off the gloves and pounced on the huge difference between his patriotic past and Obama's leftist life.  And people who comment on the candidates body language need to remember that John McCain is limited due to the brutal beatings he took as a POW.  Big deal, Obama can shoot hoops and McCain looks stiff.  He's a hero and deserves out support.
