Posted 2 months ago A South Strabane Township police officer was killed today when he was picking up a tire from a roadway. He was coming home from a training session with three other officers, when they stopped to assist in an accident on I-70. The 27-year-old officer had served with the department for under two years. His name is not being released, pending notification of his next of kin. He also served as a volunteer firefighter.
