  We better start increasing our home stocks of ammo before January 20th.  If Obama gets his way, we'll see a heavy increase on ammunition tax.  After that more people may be looking into reloading.

It's a good idea to stock up on reloading supplies, if you reload.  A few years ago they bumped the shipping price on primers since they were "hazardous materials".  The gov't can get you coming and going.

I've been stcoking up on both ammo and reloading supplies for about 6 years now and have a very large amount of both. I do suggest that when buying ammo some will be tempted to by the cheaper steel cased non-reloadable stuff, DON'T DO IT!!!!!! Keep it all in brass.

Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a savior, who is Christ the Lord."

Roger that, I'm hearing a 500% tax increase on ammo is what is being thrown around.  They won't have to take our weapons since ammo will be impossible to come by.  My problem is most online sites won't ship into Massachusetts...grrrrrrr ;{

Non-sence.  As long as your ammo is stored in a cool dry place, it should operate fine 10 years (likely more) from now.  It's hard to find good bulk ammo ever since Nov. 5th.  It's going like hot cakes.

Also, stock-up up on full and extended capacity magazines if you can.  10rd limited mags are going to be the norm again real soon.

Called 2 suppliers out of Shotgun news for ammo they had advertised (223 @ 7.62x39)  They said due to the present situation the ammo prices have jumped and they had went up 70 to 105% on the prices of these 2. As far as ammo going bad been stocking up for 20 yrs shoot my older stuff first and some of it is older than 10yrs and still goes bang!

I believe the  first thing NOBAMA is going stop or severely restrict will be hi-cap mags. For the last couple of weeks places I deal with where I could buy new 30rd AR mags for about $10-$12 bucks apiece are now selling them for $ 21 bucks and up and they have zero in stock and aren't accepting any backorders. Then ammo will follow.

If your looking for 30 round AR-15 or M-16 mags look no further than you local Military surplus slores... they have them dirt cheap... as far as ammo. I'm have difficulties finding cheap ammo fo rmy 30-30 & .22 right now.

Stock up, make friends with those who reload - and know how to do it correctly, and support the NRA.  What else can you do, the folks that sell ammo have to pass along those tax hikes as much as it kills them to do it and like it has been said, we won't be able to afford the ammo.

All need to get into reloading, get the dies, molds, components etc for every caliber that you have.

Properly stored ammunition never goes bad. For military quals we expended old M193   that were over 40 years old without a miss fire or dud. Cold, dry place is the key. Go to your local Army Navy store and pick-up a few military ammo cans for storage

Absolutely correct!  During the 90's I shot a lot of surplus ammo from the 50's, and even some 9mm Nazi subgun ammo from WWII.  Proper storage is the key!
