Posted 6 months ago Michael Vick is just one player in a pot of thousands. There's no reason to think that another player can't come along in a year or two and replace him. If Tom Brady retired tomorrow, in less than five years another q-back would be found to replace him. Perhaps not quite as good, perhaps better. It takes more than a q-back to make the team. Look at the two times John Elway went to the Super Bowl without a team behind him and they got whacked. Then two more with a team and won back to back. Development of teams can take a long time until everything clicks like it does in New England with the Pats, but next fall is a new season, for all the teams.

Posted 6 months ago Falcons will have a chance, but I believe it will take at least 2 years to rebuild the team.

Posted 5 months ago I spent the majority of my life in Georgia and most of them were misreable if you were a Falcons fan. 1998 was awesome because of the trip to the Super Bowl and that unforgettable win against the Vikings. I believe the Falcons will be successul in the future because Arthur Blank has enough money to eventually make it happen.

Posted 2 months ago I think with the new coaching staff, the new quarterback, and the new running backs, we'll be ok as long as the defense holds up.

Posted 2 months ago The lack of good additions to the offensive and defensive lines really concerns me. I'm glad we got a 1st rounder OT/OG, however, I think it would have been a good idea to sign a good free agent tackle until the new guy(s) are ready. The defensive line concerns me since Abraham has been injury prone and the other book-end hasn't registered a sack. I'd like to see Grady Jackson back. They were stupid for releasing him like they did. Gonna miss a healthy Rod Coleman.

Posted 2 months ago By the way...Good riddance to Michael Vick. Welcome Matt Ryan. Vick wasn't really a QB. He was a running back who could throw...though not always accurately.
