I am currently with the Richland County Sheriff's Dept.(over 35 years) in Columbia, SC where I work part time on the Cold Case Homicide Squad as I am semi-retired. I am sending this out as I need all the help I can get. I am trying to bring awareness to the sacrifices Police Officer's sometimes have to make with their lives as well as the problems of drunk driving. I have two songs available on this IAC site as well as Walmart.com 88 cent music download after they switch all of their cd's to MP3. IAC is connected to Cashbox Magaine.com (The Old -Your Hit Parade) and they have several posted music charts on their web site. The way it is set up is they count the number hits on your songs for play (the arrow above the purchase bar-doesn't cost you anything) and the more hits you get the higher on the music chart you rise. If you get your songs in the top fifty then more radio stations will more than likely pick up on the songs for play. This means that the more radio play, might mean more downloads which would provide the possibility of a royalty check. This of course would provide me the opportunity to present 40% of all royalties-split evenly between Mothers Against Drunk Drivers and The Police Officer's Memorial Fund. I ask of course that you play the songs as much as you like (you can mute if need be and I will understand LOL) and that you please forward this to everyone in your address book and have them do the same. Sounds like a good plan to me. I'm really excited about maybe getting some radio play on these songs as I really feel they both have strong messages. It will bring awareness to drunk driving and the sacrifices police officer's sometimes have to make. Thanks in advance-please I really need your help!
